yes, it is! I will be using that when we do our unit on adaptation. The kids will love it.

Funny, this year's 7th graders were 2 years old at 9/11. They are respectful, but I think this is the first class I've that are not connected really.

Mom, I totally know what you mean. Last year I had a round table discussion with my students about their memories and perceptions of 9-11 (not all of them remembered much, but they all had something to share) this year I'm having them watch the news, read the paper, and interview adults, which means that it has changed from a current event, into history in front of my eyes. Very strange. From here on out, it will be, like Wounded Knee and the stock market crash of 1929, my job to create relevance and teach the history of the event.
