The Holidays (Bday Christmas and New Year's Eve)

viber has made me lazy, and work has made me tired. mix in the fact that we lost much of our november and december to illness and you get a grand gap between posts. sorry for the big breaks. here's another big photo dump for your troubles. love you all. hope 12017 is the best year yet.
over the shoulder selfie on the parking lot at school. I have been taking these because I forget before we drive off.
too cute. they are so good for each other.
 those eyes though. . . .
 those eyes though. . . .
new hats for christmas. thanks Smaro

great game eleftheria picked up. a string acts as a 'laser beam' and the kids have to ninja their way through in order to defuse the timed 'bomb'. don't pull the string though.
opening gifts from far off lands.
 mmmm . . . beads
 too cute
still blurry, but the least blurry. don't stop moving.
 welcome 12017.
mmm socks.
we sent a huge package to the states. don't let mom and dad hold back any of your gifts, there is something for everyone.

we put up our tree, and i once again reminisced with one of our families greatest traditions, christmas tree ornaments (other great traditions include swimming, bicycles, drumms, and coffee mugs)
Georgia came up for Artemis' bday

Eleftheria, with some clutch help from Georgia, put together Artemis' bday cake (actually 2 cakes and 20 some cupcakes)
 Artemis helped too.

 all done by hand.
 finished product, all from scratch.
we enjoyed a very nice, albeit smaller, birthday party for Artmis. again blurry because no one stops moving.
she also enjoyed celebrating with her class at school, although of the 15 students in her class there were only 7 at school, as the rest were all sick.
her third birthday also marked the end of the pacifiers. we gave them all away to the pacifier fairy who whisked them off to kids in need. Eleftheria printed off these great little cards and letters from the fairy herself, it was super cute. she has also done really well without them for stopping cold turkey. she only sometimes steals Emily's.

What a year.
